I was just telling [a friend](http://twitter.com/protonone?ref=drewshannon.net) yesterday how my life seems to be consumed with lists. Lists of things to do, lists of things to read, watch, and listen to. Whether it’s my Netflix queue, my RSS feed, my [Instapaper](http://instapaper.com/?ref=drewshannon.net) unread list, my New York Public Library books-to-read list, my [Twitter](http://twitter.com/drewshannon?ref=drewshannon.net) or Tumblr stream, or my email inboxes, my life seems to be filled with things that need to be checked off.

Not making a judgment on it at all. It’s just kind of exhausting.
