As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve recently gotten back into photography, and have been having an absolute blast so far. It keeps me active, somewhat-productive, and perhaps most importantly, prevents me from getting jaded about living in such an awesome city. After you live in New York for awhile, you start being able to instantly tell the tourists and locals apart by the way the former walk around the city with their heads up, looking around at all the tall buildings. While I’m not the greenhorn I once was, I never want to lose that sense of wonder of all the cool things around me.

Without further ado, I’d like to announce a new feature of this newly-reborn blog: the **Photo of the Day.** ***My plan is to post a new photo, every day, without fail*.** Maybe a carefully-constructed shot using my nice Canon DSLR, maybe a candid shot with my iPhone.

I’m doing this more for myself than anyone else, but hopefully it’ll inspire me and keep me interested in improving my skills and exploring New York.
