After nearly 5 months of prep work and training, Saturday is finally the day; my girlfriend Caitlin is running her very first half marathon!

[The race is in the Hamptons](http://www.hamptonsmarathon.com/?ref=drewshannon.net "http://www.hamptonsmarathon.com/"), so it’ll be nice for us to get away for a mini vacation for a few days. We’re renting a Zipcar and driving out there tomorrow after work, and staying an extra night to relax and explore the area.

Photos to come, I’m sure. [Check out her blog ](http://amileormoreinmyshoes.tumblr.com/?ref=drewshannon.net "http://amileormoreinmyshoes.tumblr.com/")for all the details.
